Data sources and Webpages

This page is intended to provide important information and model data for all participants of wetterturnier.de. Most links are for free. We decided to provide this selection of links and data sources because we intend to give all participants the chance to submit accurate forecasts. We want to mention, that this is only a small selection of the huge amount of information available in the world wide web. Hopefully this selection will make it easier for new participants to achieve good results in our competition.

Restricted data on this page:

Because we intend to give a good chance to all participants we provide some model data which is not public available. That is e.g. surface analysis made by the GME of the DWD and the ECMF. IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is not allowed to use these data for commercial purposes or redistribute them to any third person or intitution! The restricted data are indicated by (*). When you try to download these data you have to provide your nickname and your password that you received when you registered at wetterturnier.de.
